Comfort of SASAWASHI
SASAWASHI is a new fabric woven by twisted WASHI yarns that are blended with KUMAZASA.
There’s no other fabric like SASAWASHI, which contains excellent features from “the Power of Nature.” Blending the fiber of KUMAZASA with WASHI gives it natural antibacterial and deodorant power. WASHI is lint-free, light, highly absorbent, and provides good UV protection. Washing durability is on par with cotton and the antibacterial properties can be maintained.

ABOUT WASHI
No other paper in the world is as useful as WASHI - a strong, durable, water-resistant, and versatile material. For example, Shoji (sliding WASHI paper door), keep you cool in hot, humid summers and warm in winter thanks to their humidity control, water absorption, insulation, and UV protection. As WASHI can absorb both oil and water, it uses as blotting paper and oil absorbent cooking paper. Absorb different substances at the same time is especially handy when using SASAWASHI socks and towels.
ABOUT KUMAZASA
KUMAZASA is a plant of the Gramineae family growing worldwide, particularly in the cool highlands of Japan. This hardy plant can grow for 60 years or more, surviving even harsh, snowy winters. Known for its strong antibacterial properties, KUMAZASA has been used to preserve food such as SASA SUSHI, SASA DANGO (dumplings), and CHIMAKI (rice dumplings), all of them are wrapped in SASA leaves. Bears eat large amounts of KUMAZASA before hibernation for its blood purification and detoxification benefits. Studies have shown it to be rich in chlorophyll, polysaccharides, lignin, fiber, and vitamin K. Among all KUMAZASA’S benefits, SASAWASHI products focus on their antibacterial properties and are produced as “they are” in their natural state.
